England - Oxford

The Sheldonian Theatre was built in the1660s using a design by Christopher Wren for the University of Oxford. Gilbert Sheldon was a chancellor of the University at the time and responsible for its funding. It is used now as the principal assembly room for the University, for meetings and public ceremonies.
